Hi-Carbon Steel
Round Bend
The round bend has a slightly wider gap than the O’Shaughnessy and results in better and easier setting of the hook, but may open more easily. A high percentage of freshwater applications will use round bend trebles to benefit from the wider gap.
Hi-Carbon Steel
Carbon stabilizes iron during temperature changes. The higher the level of carbon, the stronger steel.
